Oman Air commences direct operations on Goa-Muscat route
flag carrier, Oman Air has launched a direct flight service between Goa and
Muscat. Goa will be the eleventh destination in India as part of the airline's
major expansion plan and cater the strong demand from leisure travellers drawn
by the coastal' state's famed natural beauty.
- Oman Air's flight service between Muscat and Goa
operates four times per week. The service will also see the airline increase
the size of its fleet from 30 in 2014 to 70 by 2020.

new service between Muscat and Goa is now in operation. The service has already
been greeted by strong demand from our customers and bookings are running at an
encouraging level," Oman Air's Chief Executive Officer Paul Gregorowitsch
- Goa is a choice destination for leisure travelers
around the world. The flying time between the route is less than three hours.
"Furthermore, the Sultanate of Oman is seeing continuous increases in the
number of Indian citizens visiting our shores. Our new service will offer many
of them an even more convenient way of flying to Muscat with Oman Air and we
look forward to giving them a warm welcome," Gregorowitsch said.
